Responsibilities

• Provides functional assistance and direction to the kitchen operation as assigned.
• Interacts with individuals outside the restaurant, including clients, suppliers and government officials.
• Coordinates functions and activities with other Food & Beverage department heads.
• Supervises the functioning of all kitchen employees, facilities and costs to ensure profitability.
• Controls and analyzes, on an ongoing basis.
• Ensures guest satisfaction and high quality presentation of dishes.
• Supervises merchandising, marketing and payroll costs.
• Ensures optimum performance in all areas and assists in menu development.
