Job summary

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented Land Surveyor in Abu Dhabi, UAE to perform comprehensive surveys and site assessments for major infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on use of GPS/GNSS, drone surveying, total stations, and AutoCAD/GIS for precise mapping and reporting.

You will coordinate with engineers and contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in land surveying with infrastructure, construction, or civil engineering projects.
• Valid professional surveying license or UAE authorities certification (Abu Dhabi Municipality preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software for survey data analysis and technical drawing creation.
• Strong expertise in GPS/GNSS systems, drone surveying applications, and modern surveying instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive land surveys and site assessments for infrastructure and construction projects using advanced equipment.
• Analyze survey data and prepare technical reports, site plans, and documentation per UAE standards.
• Operate and maintain GPS/GNSS, total stations, and drone surveying equipment.
• Create site maps and drawings using AutoCAD and GIS tools.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet design requirements.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure precision and accuracy.
