Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC design for oil and gas projects. You will lead integration of HVAC design within IPMT, coordinate with EPC contractors, and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards. The role requires a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and at least 15 years of experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support project managers and engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years experience in oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-discipline teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC design and engineering with EPC contractor per project expectations.
• Ensure HVAC design activities meet ADNOC codes and standards.
• Review and approve Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor's work.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning & commissioning.
• Interface with ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and Project Managers.
