Job summary

Rayqube is a Dubai-based experiential technology company creating immersive spatial experiences for brands and institutions. We are seeking a Lead AI Motion Graphics Animator to craft dynamic visuals for web, mobile, and video, while guiding a team of designers and shaping the design pipeline.

The role combines hands-on motion work with leadership, collaboration with product teams, and ongoing exploration of AI-assisted animation tools. Remote or on-site work is supported in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with a strong motion graphics portfolio.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small design team.
• Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality motion graphics for web, mobile apps, and multimedia projects.
• Develop and maintain animation templates and libraries for consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate ideas into motion assets.
• Create storyboards, animatics, and prototypes to communicate concepts.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and usability in animations.

About The Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Lead AI Motion Graphics Animator with strong expertise in modern AI animation tools and storytelling techniques. The ideal candidate is passionate about bringing ideas to life through engaging motion design, creating dynamic visuals that enhance user experiences across digital platforms, including web, mobile, and video. This role can be remote / on site.

• Design and deliver high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for web, mobile applications, and multimedia projects.
• Develop and maintain animation templates and libraries to ensure consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate creative concepts into impactful motion assets.
• Create storyboards, animatics, and prototypes to communicate animation ideas.
• Conduct research and testing to validate design and motion effectiveness.
• Ensure all animations follow accessibility, responsiveness, and usability best practices.
• Stay up to date with motion design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Lead a team of graphic & motion graphic designers
• Create processes to streamline the 2D design pipeline
• Interview and build a network of freelance graphic & motion graphic designers

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse animation work.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or other industry-standard animation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, storytelling, and visual design.
• Ability to create pixel-perfect animations and scalable motion assets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
