Job summary

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is seeking a proactive Fabrication Supervisor to lead structural, piping, and welding fabrication across multiple projects in the UAE. You will plan shop-floor activities, manage manpower and resources, and ensure work complies with drawings, quality standards and QHSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in structural or piping fabrication.
• Experience in oil & gas, EPC, heavy fabrication, marine, or shipyard sectors.
• Sound knowledge of fabrication processes, welding practices, and drawing interpretation.
• Proficient in production planning and manpower allocation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to supervise multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute structural, piping, and welding fabrication activities per project requirements.
• Allocate work to Foremen and Leadmen and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with Planners and Production Engineers to secure allocated hours and productivity targets.
• Monitor progress and escalate productivity or resource constraints to Production Management.
• Optimize manpower, materials, equipment, and workshop resources to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams to resolve design issues and fabrication challenges.
• Prepare and maintain daily production progress reports for project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, weld procedures, and QHSE standards.
