Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES in Abu Dhabi seeks a Chief Estimator / Senior Estimator to lead the estimation team for tender projects. You will prepare comprehensive cost estimates and coordinate with procurement, planning, and operations to ensure accurate bid submissions.

The role requires 10–15 years in estimation, including 5+ years in management, with strong knowledge of materials, methods, and pricing. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in estimation, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
• Proficient in estimation software (CCS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation process for assigned tender projects.
• Prepare cost estimates aligned with BOQ and client specs, covering materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors during pre- and post-tender stages.
• Develop tender risk register and mitigation plans; present to management.
• Prepare top sheet and tender summary; review estimates with Estimation Manager.
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and consultants.
• Supervise the estimation team and drive digitalization initiatives.
• Review tender contracts with Contracts Department and identify major risks.
