Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in photovoltaic plant DC systems for construction supervision in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. You will supervise PV DC electrical installation activities and coordinate inspections and testing on site.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience in utility-scale solar PV projects, knowledge of PV DC installation, inspection, and testing, and UAE project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects.
• Strong experience with utility-scale solar PV electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PV DC installation, inspection and testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PV DC electrical installation activities.
• Monitor DC cabling, connections and installation of related equipment.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and installation procedures.
• Coordinate inspections and electrical testing.
• Identify installation deviations and monitor corrective actions.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
