Job summary

Ghobashgroup Dubai seeks a Lead Teacher to design and implement the daily educational program and supervise teaching assistants and nannies. The role ensures a safe, healthy learning environment that promotes intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development.

The Lead Teacher will lead activities spanning arts, literacy, mathematics, science, and physical education, prepare weekly plans, and observe student progress while collaborating with staff to uphold school policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of classroom experience in early childhood settings preferred.
• Experience supervising staff such as teaching assistants and nannies is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and implement the educational program for the class.
• Supervise teaching assistants and nannies to ensure high standards of care.
• Organize and lead activities across arts, literacy, math, science and movement.
• Monitor safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans and adapt methods to meet children’s needs.
• Observe and report on children’s progress and maintain attendance records.
