Job summary

DBB is seeking a seasoned Draughtsman to lead a team of draftsmen in producing detailed drawings and plans for construction projects in the UAE. You will supervise, review, and coordinate with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

The role requires leadership, proficiency in CAD and drafting tools, and strong communication skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate across disciplines. On-site work with tight deadlines is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Draughtsman with leadership responsibilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of draftsmen in preparing detailed drawings, plans, and designs.
• Review and approve drawings created by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior draftsmen to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure that all drawings and plans meet industry standards and regulations.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and software tools to improve drafting processes and efficiency.
