Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant - Process Optimization in Abu Dhabi to guide complex USC implementations, lead multi-country teams, and shape value-driven planning solutions for refining and petrochemicals. You will bridge business goals with system capabilities, mentor consultants, and support presales with strategic demonstrations.

The role requires 15+ years in supply chain planning/optimization, strong stakeholder management, and deep AVEVA USC expertise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in supply chain planning and optimization.
• Proven track record delivering complex supply chain transformation projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary and multi-country project teams.
• Experience managing direct customer engagements and executive stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Plan and Network or equivalent solutions.
• Industry knowledge in Refining and Petrochemicals.
• Substantial experience in optimization modelling (linear and MILP).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex USC solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable USC architectures and optimization models.
• Facilitate workshops with planners, schedulers, supply chain managers, and executives.
• Drive alignment between business objectives and system capabilities.
• Act as the functional and technical authority during USC implementation projects.
• Define modelling approaches, solution architecture, integration requirements, and deployment strategies.
• Lead USC model development, validation, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Resolve complex technical and business issues during project execution.
• Ensure projects follow AVEVA delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Assess customer planning processes and recommend improvements in workflows.
• Support Digital Transformation initiatives in planning domains.
• Coach consultants on USC methodologies and best practices.
• Contribute to development of delivery methodologies, templates, and accelerators.
• Support presales activities including discovery, demonstrations, estimates, and proposals.
