Job summary

Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing is seeking a Senior Lead – Azure DevOps / SRE Engineer to own architecture delivery across the Azure estate, leading AKS platform engineering, IaC (Terraform & Ansible), and release management.

Ideal candidates will have expert Terraform/Azure DevOps skills, strong Ansible and scripting experience, and be based in the UAE with readiness to join promptly.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Terraform and Azure DevOps pipeline engineering.
• Strong Ansible, Docker, and Helm experience.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server operations; regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready platforms from architecture designs (security, networking, identity).
• Design, operate, and scale AKS clusters (upgrades, hardening, workload isolation).
• Build IaC frameworks using Terraform and Ansible; automate workflows.
• Engineer multi-stage Azure DevOps pipelines with approval gates and rollbacks.
• Own release management — planning, promotion, verification, rollback readiness.
• Automate workflows using Python, Bash, PowerShell; monitor and respond to incidents.
• Support Linux and Windows Server environments; define SLIs/SLOs and postmortems.

We're hiring a Senior Lead – Azure DevOps / SRE Engineer to own architecture delivery across our Azure estate leading AKS platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform & Ansible), Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and release management/SRE practices.

Immediate joiners or those who can join within 2 weeks preferred

Availability: Candidates must be currently based in UAE

Key Responsibilities
