Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to drive automation and control systems engineering for a major ADNOC project. The role will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop key deliverables, and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and global codes.

The position begins in Abu Dhabi with a planned relocation to an international project location at a later stage. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 18+ years in FEED/EPC within Oil & Gas, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory.
• 18+ years in FEED/EPC contracts in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in GCC.
• At least 5 years in a similar position for international major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• ADNOC project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and control systems engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review key deliverables ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support vendor evaluations.
• Provide expert guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable automation solutions.

KBR Abu Dhabi is currently seeking an experienced Lead Automation Engineer to support a major PMC ADNOC project. The role will initially be based in Abu Dhabi with a planned relocation to an international project location at a later stage.

The Lead Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading automation and control systems engineering activities developing and reviewing key deliverables ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting vendor and technical evaluations and providing expert guidance to ensure safe efficient and reliable automation solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum Overall 18 years of experience in execution of FEED / EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas industry with minimum 5 years experience in GCC region
• Having minimum 5 years of previous experience working in similar position for international major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Having previous experience in handling ADNOC Projects will be an added advantage
