Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Lead Architect to steer architectural design coordination and site supervision for large-scale building projects. You will ensure the architectural intent is maintained throughout construction and manage multidisciplinary coordination, reviews, and site execution in line with project specs and safety standards.

The role requires 15+ years in architecture, strong UAE regulation knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and registration preferred.
15+ years in architecture with construction supervision/PMC/consultancy experience.
Experience on large-scale mixed-use, commercial, hospitality or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of UAE regulations and materials, detailing, and construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and MS Office; strong stakeholder mgmt.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design review and coordinate across disciplines.
Supervise on-site architectural works and ensure compliance with drawings.
Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, method statements, mock-ups.
Conduct site inspections and prepare observations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
Monitor progress and ensure schedules and UAE regulations are met.
Lead QA/QC activities, manage snagging, handover, and mentor staff.
Contribute to design changes, value engineering, and problem solving.
