Job summary

Valkyn.ai is seeking a Lead AI Architect to design and lead the delivery of client AI systems, from process mapping to production. You will work directly with the founder and client teams, shaping how we build as well as what we build.

You will own architecture decisions across LLM providers, retrieval, ERP/CRM integrations, and security, while mentoring engineers as the team grows. This is a fully remote role serving Gulf clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or solution architecture.
• 2+ years building LLM-based systems in production.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks, tool use, retrieval (RAG) and evaluation.
• Strong TypeScript or Python; cloud deployment
• Experience integrating with ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Turn a client process into a complete system design (data, rules, agents, gates).

Valkyn builds agentic AI systems for Gulf businesses, focused on the processes where a wrong number costs real money: quotations, tenders and approvals. Our systems run in production, including margin-gated quotation and approval for a MENA distribution group, with landed-cost and FX checks, Arabic quotation documents and ERP handoff.

The role

We are looking for a Lead AI Architect to design and lead the technical delivery of our client systems, from the first process map to production. You will work directly with the founder and with client teams, and you will shape how we build, not just what we build.

What you will do

• Turn a client's real process into a system design: data, rules, agents, human approval gates and measurement.
• Design and build multi-agent workflows with clear guardrails, evaluation and observability.
• Own architecture decisions across LLM providers, retrieval, integrations (ERP, CRM, document systems) and security.
• Set up evaluation from day one: accuracy, cost per run, turnaround time and failure handling.
• Review code and mentor engineers as the team grows.

What you bring

• 8+ years in software or solution architecture, with at least 2 years building LLM-based systems that reached production.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks, tool use, retrieval (RAG) and evaluation.
• Strong TypeScript or Python, and comfort with cloud deployment, Postgres and APIs.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Arabic and experience with Gulf clients are a plus.
