Job summary

Edge Group seeks a Senior Engineer – Aeromechanical to lead aeromechanical activities for weapon integration on aircraft. You will manage mechanical interfaces, loads, vibration and aeroelasticity, owning complex analyses and supporting tests.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace with aircraft–weapon integration expertise and proficiency in CAD and CFD tools. You will help ensure safety, airworthiness and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering with exposure to aeromechanical topics.
• 8+ years of aeromechanical integration experience including ownership of complex analyses and test support.
• Knowledge of safety-critical development processes for airborne/weapon systems.
• Knowledge of aircraft–weapon integration principles and aeromechanical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead aeromechanical activities for weapon integration on aircraft platforms, including mechanical interfaces, carriage and release environments.
• Define, assess and verify mechanical interfaces between weapon systems, suspension equipment and aircraft structures.
• Conduct or support aeromechanical analyses such as structural loads, vibration, aeroelasticity and dynamic response.
• Contribute to design, integration and readiness reviews with technical inputs and evidence.
• Support and coordinate aeromechanical ground and flight test preparation and data review.
• Ensure compliance with military standards, airworthiness requirements and internal procedures.
