Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. is seeking a Landscaping Contractor supervisor to oversee landscaping works across hospital facilities.

You will inspect sites, ensure contractor compliance with standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with hospital departments to meet the needs of staff and visitors. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, and involves daily supervision of contractor staff and preparation of reports and irrigation plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and audits of landscaping quality.
• Document findings and provide feedback to maintenance manager.
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract terms and standards.
• Supervise daily landscaping works and verify contractor staff attendance.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to meet staff, patient, and visitor needs.
• Follow CAFM requests and schedule preventive maintenance for landscaping items.
• Evaluate and approve landscaping plans and materials, including add‑ons.
• Maintain hospital grounds to meet aesthetics, safety and functionality standards.
• Prepare yearly grounds budget and monthly landscaping reports.
• Plan irrigation schemes for new areas and monitor implementation.
• Monitor budgets and schedules of landscaping projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and contractors as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Financial responsibility: Checking, Verifying the BOQ and invoices related to payments of

Landscaping Contractor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting site inspections and audits to assess the quality and condition of the landscaping.
• Documenting findings and recommendations in detailed reports and providing feedback to the building maintenance manager.
• Make sure that Landscaping contractor is complying with the contract conditions, obligations and standards related to landscaping.
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends and best practices in landscaping.
• Supervise all works in daily basis related to Landscaping including control of contractor’s staff and verify their duty attendance.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or problems related to the landscaping.
• Coordinating with other hospital departments and stakeholders to ensure the landscaping meets the needs and expectations of the hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
• Follow CAFM requests from end users related to Landscaping. Also, to schedule and follow PPM in CAFM for all kinds of Landscaping items
• Evaluating and approving landscaping plans, designs, and materials including additional works.
• Implement the hospital policy and procedures and ensure complying with related PPGs.
• Assist in staff orientation procedures.
• Responsible for keeping the hospital garden and ground in a beautiful and scenic environment and meets the hospital’s standards of aesthetics, safety, and functionality.
• Prepare yearly grounds keeping budget as per the Department direction.
• Prepare monthly reports related Landscaping services and submit to Building maintenance manager
• Preparation of schemes of irrigation systems and Landscapes of new areas.
• Monitoring and managing the budget and schedule of the landscaping projects.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders (internal and external) and contractors if they needed any support from Landscaping team.
• Prepare and maintain irrigation system follow-up on the hospital contractors work with regard to grounds keeping.
• Communicate with local municipality to obtain new plants, trees, communicating with all subcontractors working in hospital area.
