Job summary

Qualifications

Role Context

The Landscape Architect will contribute to the design and technical development of public realm and landscape projects from early design studies through detailed documentation. The role combines creative thinking with practical site engineering, digital modelling, drawing production, specification preparation, and coordination with other disciplines. Working under the guidance of senior landscape professionals, the position helps convert design concepts into buildable, visually engaging, and sustainable outdoor environments. Close coordination with architecture, engineering, drafting, and project teams will be important to maintaining design quality, technical accuracy, programme requirements, and project budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop landscape architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions for public realm and outdoor environments.
• Perform landscape design calculations and basic site engineering assessments required for project development.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, schedules, data tables, and supporting design documentation.
• Produce and review design studies, presentation material, technical drawings, and coordinated project deliverables.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and 3D modelling tools to develop accurate digital design information.
• Support the preparation of landscape plans, sections, details, grading concepts, and associated technical packages.
• Maintain close coordination with drafting, design, architectural, engineering, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Translate design intent into technically feasible solutions while considering site conditions and construction requirements.
• Work on assignments of moderate technical complexity within established programme and budget requirements.
• Coordinate design information with professionals from other disciplines to identify and resolve interface issues.
• Assist senior landscape architects with technical reviews, design development, and project documentation.
• Create visual presentations and design communication material using Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Develop 3D models and rendered environments to communicate landscape concepts clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
• Support internal design reviews and incorporate approved comments into revised drawings and presentation packages.
• Assist with the coordination and development of assigned architectural and design personnel when required.
• Maintain consistency between design concepts, drawings, specifications, digital models, and final project deliverables.

Ideal Profile

Candidates should hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related design discipline. A Master 's Degree in Landscape Architecture will be considered an advantage. The position is suited to professionals with approximately 3-6 years of experience in landscape architecture, public realm design, urban environments, or closely related design work. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino is important, together with practical understanding of BIM workflows and 2D and 3D digital design processes. Candidates should also be confident using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for design communication and presentation development. Experience with rendering platforms such as Lumion, Enscape, or Twinmotion will be valuable.
