Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or equivalent qualifications.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS systems, etc.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in the field or in an office environment.
• Ability to interpret data accurately from diagrams or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Researching existing surveys and title deeds.
• Estimating distances between points using theodolites.
• Using Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to measure distances.
• Measuring angles between points.
• Evaluating data collected by field surveyors.
• Preparing detailed topographic maps.
• Meeting with clients to discuss project requirements.
• Performing calculations related to area, volume, contour lines, elevations etc.
