Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in land surveying.
• Demonstrated knowledge of robotic total stations and GPS receivers.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision at times.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Utilize robotic total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, etc. to collect survey data.
• Process collected data using appropriate software and prepare survey plans/drawings/maps.
• Analyze existing surveys or other land-related documents and research title records.
• Prepare property descriptions for deeds, leases, rights-of-way, etc.
• Prepare plats and certificates of surveys.
• Keep up to date on all applicable laws or regulations related to land surveying.
