Job summary

Egis Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to conduct land and engineering surveys for bridge maintenance, rehabilitation and construction projects. You will perform site surveys, establish control points, carry out topographic and as-built surveys, and prepare accurate surveys and drawings.

The role requires 5 years of UAE bridge or infrastructure surveying experience, proficiency with Total Station, GPS and AutoCAD, and a valid UAE driving license with own car.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in bridge construction or related projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience in setting out and surveying for bridges roads and infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of surveying methods calculations and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Valid UAE Driving License and own car are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and engineering surveys for bridge maintenance rehabilitation and construction projects.
• Perform site surveys measurements and setting out works as per approved drawings and project requirements.
• Establish survey control points benchmarks and reference coordinates for project activities.
• Carry out topographic surveys alignment checks level surveys and as-built surveys for bridge structures and related works.
• Prepare survey reports drawings and documentation accurately and maintain proper survey records.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers Site Engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate execution of works.
• Verify site dimensions levels and positions of structural elements before and during construction activities.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station GPS Auto Level and other survey instruments.
• Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications quality standards and safety requirements.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation.
• Identify and report any discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
