Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar invites a Land Surveyor to join our Sharjah team. You will conduct land surveys, determine precise locations and boundaries, and compile data for engineering and construction work.

Using total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, you will create CAD maps and reports, collaborate with engineers and architects, and ensure safety on site. A high school diploma is required; a surveying degree is preferred. Biometric passport holders are welcome to apply. Accommodation is not provided.

Job description

Land Surveyor

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact locations and measurements of land features, boundaries, and other natural or man-made structures. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate data for project planning and development. This position is located in Sharjah and is open to Indian nationals without the need for English language skills or prior experience. Please note that applicants must have a valid biometric passport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
• Collect data on land features, including elevations, boundaries, infrastructure, and topography
• Analyze survey data and create detailed maps and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to verify accuracy of plans and designs
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams in a clear and concise manner
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during field work
• Maintain accurate records of survey data for future reference

Requirements:

• Indian national with a valid biometric passport
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in surveying or related field preferred
• Previous experience as a Land Surveyor is not required but considered a plus
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English preferred but not required
