Responsibilities

• Perform detailed surveys on properties including dimensions, boundaries, topography, elevations and other characteristics.
• Use GPS receivers, electronic distance meters, levels and other surveying instruments for data collection.
• Analyze survey data on computer software programs such as AutoCAD to create accurate maps.
• Analyze aerial photographs, satellite images and research maps for additional information.
• Prepare reports that include findings, measurements taken and recommendations on the best course of action.
