Job summary

Mabrook Al Baby is seeking a Lactation Consultant to provide breastfeeding support in the clinic, inpatient wards and NICU. You will offer individualized counseling, education and plans for new and expectant mothers, addressing latch issues, milk supply and infant growth.

You will work with pediatricians, obstetricians and nurses to coordinate care, conduct classes for parents, and train staff on current lactation practices. Documentation and follow-up are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• IBCLC certification required or in process with licensure as nurse or midwife.
• Experience in lactation care, NICU and inpatient settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teaching skills for parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide breastfeeding support and education in clinic and hospital wards.
• Assess and address breastfeeding challenges, including latch and milk supply.
• Educate parents and conduct group classes on breastfeeding techniques.
• Coordinate with pediatricians and obstetricians for care plans.
• Maintain documentation of consultations, progress and outcomes.
