Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to accurately label products in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. You will work with the production team to ensure labels are applied correctly and processes are followed, contributing to overall quality on the production line.

The role emphasizes operating labeling equipment, quality inspections, and collaboration with multiple departments to maintain compliance and safe practices on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional manufacturing/QA training is a plus.
• Previous labeling or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Basic understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate labeling machinery and apply labels to products.
• Monitor labeling processes for quality and report discrepancies.
• Verify labels contain product name, ingredients, expiration dates and barcodes.
• Assist in labeling supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in labeling process training.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive labeling tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
