PPG Industries, Inc. in Dubai is seeking a Tint-Cell Operator to join our production team.

The role blends, matches color, and quality-controls paint batches according to our formulations, standards, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and committed to product quality and workplace safety, with 2–4 years in coating production and proficiency with blending equipment and colorimetric tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical diploma or certification in chemistry, paint technology, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years in a paint blending, coatings manufacturing, or related production environment; hazardous materials setting experience is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial blending equipment, spectrophotometer operation and color correction software, ability to read batch tickets and SOPs.
• English proficiency required; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Blending & Production: Blend intermediates, follow batch tickets, verify labels, batch numbers, manufacture and expiry dates, and log formulas.
• Color Matching & Quality Control: Prepare samples, assess color against standards using spectrophotometer, adjust as needed, record gloss and viscosity.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean and maintain blending and tint cell equipment per guidelines.
• Health Safety & Environmental Compliance: Follow life-critical rules, safety regulations, and proper handling of flammable liquids; dispose of hazardous waste safely.
