Job summary

Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is seeking dedicated kitchen stewards to join our team. You will assist in keeping the kitchen and storage areas clean and orderly, ensure sanitation standards, and support heavy-duty cleaning of ovens, grills, and other equipment.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work rotating shifts. A knowledge of cleaning chemicals and a proactive approach to minimizing waste will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for: Previous Steward Experience
• Good communication skills
• Team work
• Ability to work in a rotating shift and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of all chemicals used.

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas, including equipment and surfaces
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness in all kitchens and utility areas
• Perform heavy-duty cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, walk-in fridges and other equipment
• Operate dishwashing machinery to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of culinary items
• Carry out all stewarding tasks as directed
• Help minimize wastage, breakage and spoilage
