Job Description

As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen area.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine and hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals
  • Clean and mop all areas throughout the kitchen
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance needs to manager
Qualifications
  • Service oriented with an eye for detail
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferred
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
