Reap HR in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist chefs with basic food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients).
• Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning kitchen workstations, floors, storage areas, and food preparation surfaces.
• Receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and ingredients properly.
• Organizing kitchen inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
• Removing trash and recycling while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Following food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment safely.
• Helping chefs during meal preparation and service when required.
• Ensuring ingredients and tools are readily available for the cooking team.
• Monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Supporting opening and closing kitchen procedures.
