Job summary
Accor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Kitchen Technician to ensure all kitchen equipment runs smoothly and safely. You will work with kitchen staff to maintain compliance and minimize downtime, performing preventive maintenance and quick repairs to support operations and guest satisfaction.
The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, strong documentation practices, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced hospitality
Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen equipment maintenance or related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot commercial kitchen appliances and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections on kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues with analytical thinking.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and service history for compliance.
- Ensure work adheres to safety and health standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to communicate maintenance schedules.
