Job summary
A leading global hospitality company is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Technician to maintain kitchen equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will handle maintenance operations within the hotel and support energy conservation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills for refrigeration systems and be able to work under pressure, especially during peak kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic ability for refrigeration systems, gas-fired appliances and electrical control systems.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, refrigeration schematics and PLC/IoT logic.
- Familiar with HACCP, food safety temperature control, and relevant fire and gas safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and commission kitchen & beverage equipment.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for kitchen and refrigeration assets.
- Respond to kitchen breakdowns and emergency service calls to avoid service disruption.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and source spare parts as needed.
