Job summary

Accor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Kids Club supervisor with a warm, child-centered approach. You will welcome children and parents, supervise activities, and ensure safety, while keeping clear check-in/check-out procedures and fostering a fun, educational environment.

The role requires strong communication with parents, good organizational skills, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Russian language fluency is required, with First Aid/CPR being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Russian language.
• High school diploma or equivalent; childcare or early childhood education qualifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience in childcare, hospitality, recreation, or a similar role is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage and may be required by the employer.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, patient, caring, and responsible attitude toward children.
• Ability to manage groups of children and respond calmly in challenging situations.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Knowledge of child safeguarding, hygiene, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children and parents warmly and provide a friendly, professional service.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Organize and conduct fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, games, arts and crafts, and indoor or outdoor play.
• Ensure children are checked in and checked out according to established procedures and released only to authorized persons.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and complete registration forms as required.
• Monitor children's behavior and encourage positive interaction, teamwork, and respect.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the Kids Club facilities, toys, and equipment.
• Inspect play areas and equipment regularly to identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Follow child safeguarding policies, emergency procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, needs, and any incidents.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unusual incidents promptly to the supervisor and complete the required documentation.
• Assist in organizing special events, themed activities, birthday celebrations, and family entertainment programs.
• Ensure all toys, games, and equipment are stored properly after use.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
