Responsibilities

• 1.Assist the teacher with the Assigned work, and ensure it is carried out by his/her students.
• 2.Assist for the development, progress, attainment and behavior of the students;
• 3.Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process
• 4.Participate and assist in appraisal of students’ performance;
• 5.Assist and Monitor student discipline and safeguard their health and safety at all times;
• 6.Assist to Register attendance of students and report absence immediately to the Supervisor.
• 7.Assist in educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, and class teachers.
• 8.Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• 9.Assist class teachers with maintaining student records.

• 1.Monitor and help maintain student discipline. Encourage good practice about punctuality, behavior, standards of work and homework. Be accountable for such actions;
• Assist and prepare display of student’s work.

• Support teacher in photocopying and other tasks in order to support teaching.
• Undertake other duties from time to time as the head teacher requires.
• 02.Monitoring, Assessing, Recording, Reporting
• 1.Assist to Assess and record students’ progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognize the level at which the student is achieving.
• 03.Pastoral Duties
• 1.Assist to Monitor the wellbeing of all students under care;
• 2.Support students who need special assistance in learning, who are gifted/talented or who need additional care;
• 04.Compliance
• 1.Undertake professional duties that may be reasonably assigned by the head teacher.
• 2.Establish effective working relationships and set a good example through the presentation and personal and professional conduct;
• 3.Maintain confidentiality on matters related to school, staff, students and infrastructure.
