Role Overview

Our client is seeking a results-driven and client-focused Key Account Manager -Pump to manage and expand strategic relationships within the fragrance and cosmetics industry. The Key Account Manager will serve and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the pump portfolio within assigned territories or clients. primary point of contact for key clients, with a strong focus on dispensing pumps and other primary packaging components. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth, delivering customized solutions, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through close collaboration with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in B2B account management, an in-depth understanding of primary packaging, and a proactive approach to building long-term, value-driven partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Fragrance Evaluation & Sensory Analysis:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring consistent and high-quality service.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding client needs and offering effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand company's pump portfolio within assigned territories or clients.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across packaging components.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to key clients in coordination with the product and technical teams.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Maintain a strong understanding of pump technologies and trends in the fragrance and cosmetics packaging industry.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide client feedback and support customization requests.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging client needs.

Coordination & Project Oversight

  • Work closely with internal departments including Supply Chain, Quality, Technical, and Customer Service to ensure timely delivery and resolution of client issues.
  • Oversee pump development or adaptation projects from briefing to launch, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, forecasts, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on account status, performance, and risks.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the packaging, fragrance, cosmetics, or related B2B sectors.
  • Technical understanding of dispensing pumps and primary packaging components.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role, preferably in the fragrance, personal care, or cosmetics packaging industry.
  • Experience working alongside perfumers, evaluators, or R&D in a technical or evaluative role.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strategic and commercial approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
