Job Title - Key Account Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Key Account Executive to manage and grow strategic retail and distributor accounts for our beverage portfolio. You will collaborate closely with internal sales and trade teams lead pre‑sales engagements and drive volume revenue and visibility across major modern‑trade partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned key accounts (e.g. hypermarkets, supermarkets, wholesalers and distributors).
  • Provide pre‑sales product knowledge and technical support; partner with the Sales / Business Development team to close deals.
  • Identify business opportunities by researching market trends, analysing sales leads and qualifying prospects.
  • Prepare and deliver professional product presentations, tenders and proposals to drive key account growth.
  • Lead negotiations around pricing, promotions, contract terms and product listing with buyers and category managers.
  • Monitor in‑store execution to ensure product availability and visibility in key account stores and work with merchandising teams to maximise shelf presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute in‑store promotions, product launches and brand activations tailored for key accounts.
  • Track and manage account performance, forecast sales and deliver account performance reports to senior management.
  • Work cross‑functionally with supply chain, finance and logistics teams to ensure order fulfilment, pricing compliance and prompt issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate customer data, contracts and commercial terms are maintained in CRM and sales systems.
  • Build and sustain long‑term relations with key stakeholders (buyers, category heads) to secure business continuity and future growth.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in key account management or sales within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record in managing high‑value accounts, negotiations and delivering sales performance.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE retail landscape (modern‑trade distribution networks).
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data, prepare forecasts and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools or sales automation systems.
