Job summary

Smart Zone in Dubai is seeking a Junior Videographer/Editor with 1–2 years of experience to create and edit video content from concept to final cut for social media, campaigns and events.

You will shoot and edit, craft stories for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and deliver multiple formats while maintaining brand identity. Proficiency in Premiere Pro is required; After Effects and Photoshop are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in videography, video editing, content creation or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok and other short-form video formats.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.

About the Role

Smart Zone is looking for a creative Videographer/Editor who can take video content from concept to final output. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable shooting and editing, with a strong understanding of social media-first content and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production: Plan and shoot videos for social media, campaigns, events and corporate content.
• Video Editing: Edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and other digital videos, including cuts, pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound design and colour correction.
• Creative Content: Conceptualise engaging video ideas and stay updated with current social media and editing trends.
• Content Repurposing: Create multiple edits, cut-downs and formats from existing footage for different platforms.
• Motion Graphics: Create basic motion graphics, animated text, transitions and visual effects.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos follow Smart Zone’s visual identity while bringing fresh creative ideas.
• Graphic Support: Use Photoshop and Adobe tools for basic design requirements when needed.
• Project Management: Organise footage and project files and deliver content within deadlines.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in videography, video editing, content creation or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok and other short-form video formats.
• Good knowledge of storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound and colour correction.
• Basic understanding of cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
• Basic knowledge about current trends and AI.
• Creative eye with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio/showreel of previous work is required.
