Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Dubai is seeking a junior urban designer/master planner to join the master planning team on defined project segments under supervision. You will apply creative solutions, develop research and documentation, and contribute to high-quality reports and visuals.

The role requires a degree in Architecture/ Landscape/ Urban Planning (or Urban Design/Master Planning) with 0-2 years of experience, strong communication, report writing, and proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp,

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Degree in Architecture/ Landscape/ Urban Planning/ and/or Masters in Urban Design/ Master Planning or equivalent.
• Working towards recognition in chosen profession (e.g. AIA, RIBA, ARB, RTPI).

Responsibilities

• Adopt creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develop appropriate research and documentation.
• Coordinate pro-active coordination with internal design disciplines to achieve high quality reports and presentations.
• Contributes to team KPIs such as marketing materials and thought leadership activities.
• Compile and organize planning documents and data.
• Coordinate basic logistics for planning sessions or events.
• Meet or exceed client expectations on assignments.

Job DescriptionOverview

Works as part of the master planning team performing and completing work on defined segments of a project under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Urban Designer/Master Planner or nominated supervisor.

Your role

• Adopt creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develop appropriate research and documentation to support these solutions.
• Conduct pro-active coordination with internal design disciplines to achieve a high quality consistent set of reports presentations and project document.
• Contributes to team KPIs such as marketing materials thought leadership team activities.
• Compile and organize planning documents and data.
• Coordinate basic logistics for planning sessions or events.
• Meeting or exceeding client expectations on assignments.

• Evidence of good Urban Designer/Master Planner/ Architecture and design understanding.
• Effective communication.
• High quality report writing skills and / or GIS / AutoCAD / Rhino/ Sketchup/ Adobe Suite / PPT.
