Job summary

AEJ Consulting Ltd is seeking a Junior Trader to join a Dubai-based specialist financial trading firm. The role focuses on supporting daily trading activity, trade capture, and reconciliation while collaborating with traders on research and strategy development.

Recent graduates with a strong interest in financial markets, robust analytical skills, and ownership mindset are encouraged to apply. Exposure to Python, R, or C++ is advantageous in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical discipline
• Recent graduate with up to 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear interest in financial markets and trading
• Proactive, resilient and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-oriented environments
• Exposure to programming or data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R, C++, or similar) is advantageous but not required

Responsibilities

• Support daily trading activity, including trade capture and reconciliation
• Coordinate with operations and support functions on desk-level and broader initiatives
• Assist with execution of exchange-traded and OTC transactions
• Work alongside traders on research, analysis, and development of trading ideas
• Contribute to internal market commentary and analytical reporting
• Evaluate potential opportunities across new products and strategies
