Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform scheduled and non-scheduled services on complex systems, under supervision, in the most efficient manner.

You will inspect readings, ensure proper tool handling, maintain safety with PPE, and uphold ISO 9001 quality practices while delivering professional and tidy work; a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Control or Industrial Engineering and 3+ years in hospitality, catering, facility management or related

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, catering, facility management or projects.
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on systems under supervision.
• Inspect readings and record on log sheets or checklists.
• Handle tools properly and optimize use of consumables.
• Ensure work is performed efficiently, professionally and neatly.
• Communicate with supervisor and hand over pending tasks at shift end.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies during maintenance.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 quality policy and departmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out all scheduled / non- scheduled maintenance services of systems under the guidance of the concerned Supervisor in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect and record all necessary readings on prescribed log sheet or checklist.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and optimises use of consumables.
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in an efficient, professional and tidy manner before, after and during the job.
• Communicate with supervisor on the work performed and handover jobs that are still pending before the end of the shift.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE's) while performing maintenance services.
• Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 International Standards and execute his/her responsibility according to the department work procedures reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education Qualification

• A Diploma holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering from recognized college and institute.

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience or hands on work experience in similar position in Hospitality, Catering, Facility Management or Project Management Industry.
