About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sommelier to join Jumeirah Al Naseem.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Uphold Jumeirah standards by reporting on time, attending briefings, and contributing to team communication and service excellence
• Manage wine inventory including ordering, stock control, rotation, labelling, and spoilage reporting
• Maintain wine storage by ensuring correct temperatures, cleanliness, and proper organization of wine chillers and cabinets
• Support beverage operations by assisting service teams, completing assigned tasks, and performing lateral service when needed
• Ensure compliance and quality through checklist adherence, cleaning schedules, inventory accuracy, and LQA standards
• Train and collaborate with colleagues to enhance wine knowledge, teamwork, and smooth outlet operations

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in similar luxury, high end work environment as Sommelier
• WSET level 3 or equivalent
• Good tasting skills of wines and spirits of the World
• Any additional language like French, Italian, German, Arabic and Russian
