Job summary

IC is seeking a Junior Quantitative Analyst in Dubai to support senior researchers on live problems, working with production data that feeds decisions in pricing and risk. You will analyse trade, quote and client datasets to understand behaviour, and back-test models under supervision to ensure robustness.

You will also contribute to data-quality standards and document findings for non-quant readers, using Python and SQL with a strong emphasis on clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (math, stats, physics, CS, engineering, or similar).
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and SQL for large datasets.
• Experience with hypothesis testing, regression and time-series methods.
• Interest in market microstructure and broker economics, learn on the job.
• Strong written communication and ability to document analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyse trade, quote and client datasets to characterise client behaviour.
• Build and back-test classification and signal models under supervision.
• Validate and stress-test existing models and check stability over time.
• Investigate anomalies and distinguish genuine signals from data defects.
• Contribute to data-quality standards across sources and definitions.
• Document findings clearly for non-quantitative readers.
