Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Dubai to support SOC operations and Cyber Defense activities. You will manage QRadar SIEM administration, monitor events, and assist with vulnerability assessments and incident management in a dynamic team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and security teams, documentation of procedures, and continuous skill development within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a relevant information security role.
• Strong foundational knowledge in information security principles and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer QRadar SIEM and ensure software updates and patches are current.
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents detected by QRadar for threat detection.
• Investigate incidents to determine root cause and impact and coordinate response.
• Develop containment, eradication, and recovery actions with incident teams.
• Document findings and actions in incident reports for accountability and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, network ops, and app teams to implement security controls.
• Stay informed on emerging threats and participate in ongoing training.
