Job description

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Junior Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Sharjah factory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing production teams, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in coatings, and the ability to drive efficiency while meeting production targets.

Lead day-to-day production operations while driving quality, safety, and team performance!

  • Oversees all production operations, including raw material (RM) store.
  • Guides and directs workforce; assigns tasks and provides instructions.
  • Ensures product manufacturing aligns with batch cards and management systems.
  • Trains manpower and ensures proper job allocation.
  • Supervises maintenance technicians and ensures equipment checks.
  • Coordinates with Production Planner for timely batch planning and delivery.
  • Manages ERP transactions for stock transfer/posting.
  • Enforces fire and safety protocols; active member of the Fire Fighting Team.
  • Controls departmental costs, including overtime (OT).
  • Maintains production-related documentation.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment in line with HSE policies.
  • Follows SOPs, QMS, EMS, and OHSAS systems.
  • Oversees production line operations and cross-functional coordination.
  • Manages site maintenance and supervises preventive/breakdown maintenance.
  • Ensures daily plans are followed, and stock availability is maintained.

What we’re looking for:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience will be ideal.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS), EMS, Health & Safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret batch cards, SOPs, and technical documents.
  • Preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination.
