Job Description:

  • Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
  • Support the preparation and issuance of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to clarify procurement needs, specifications, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain effective communication to resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends for cost‑effective purchasing.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery conditions.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier quotations and preparing bid analysis reports.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all procurement activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1‑3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the oil, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment.
