Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience in oil and gas.
• Learning the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable.
• Learning design techniques and analysis methods.
• Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society as applicable.
• Is familiar with process design and unit operations.
• Is current with the latest scientific and engineering methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks.
• Apply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring.
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
• Organize own work to meet deadlines set by others.
• Clearly communicate information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.
• Gain understanding of the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements.
• Develop basic knowledge of MDR's business units.
• Develop a basic understanding of MDR's business and the customers it serves.
• Develop basic knowledge of the interactions between the departments.
