Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank invites applications for the Associate Analyst- Model Risk Management role in Abu Dhabi. The position targets fresh graduates UAE Nationals who will support model governance, AI risk governance and monitoring under supervision.

You will assist with evidence gathering, documentation, and cross-functional coordination while developing a solid foundation in model lifecycle risk and responsible AI practices within banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Fresh graduate or up to two years of internship; banking experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Foundation knowledge of statistics, data analysis, machine learning or model development concepts.
• Exposure to Python, R or SAS; Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong analytical, research and documentation skills with attention to data quality.
• Clear written and verbal communication, teamwork, adaptability and commitment to development.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, analytical and coordination support to Model Risk Management and AI Risk team.
• Maintain complete model and AI use-case inventory with ownership, purpose, status, risk tier, validation and monitoring information.
• Support model identification, risk classification and lifecycle governance activities.
• Assist with independent model reviews by collecting documentation and observations under supervision.
• Support basic quantitative testing using Excel and, as capability develops, Python, R or SAS.
• Help review AI use cases for responsible AI considerations such as data quality, fairness and privacy.
• Prepare committee packs, dashboards and risk oversight reporting.
