Job summary

TXM Solutions is seeking a Junior QA/QC Engineer in Dubai to support the implementation and monitoring of quality requirements for Electrical and Mechanical works on construction projects.

You will perform site inspections, coordinate with project teams, and ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, standards and project quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical MEP discipline.
• 2–5 years of QA/QC, MEP construction, or building services experience.
• Experience with an MEP contractor or main contractor preferred.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing QA/QC procedures for Electrical and Mechanical works.
• Conduct site inspections for MEP installations and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and standards.
• Raise and coordinate WIRs and MIRs with consultants and project teams.
• Inspect incoming Electrical and Mechanical materials and verify compliance with submittals.
• Support inspections for LV systems, lighting, power distribution, containment, cabling, earthing and related services.
• Support inspections for HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and related equipment installations.
• Identify quality issues and raise NCRs; follow up to close NCRs within required timeframes.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, checklists, test reports and approvals.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Construction Teams, Consultants, Subcontractors and QA/QC Engineers.
