Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel based in Dubai, UAE. The role provides legal support to the business, with a focus on employment law and litigation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

The successful candidate will handle contract drafting, review, and advisory work across multiple jurisdictions, while coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Qualified lawyer or currently working towards a professional legal qualification.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification or relevant legal experience gained within a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong legal research, analytical capabilities, and excellent English drafting/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Employment Law: Advise on employment law across multiple jurisdictions; draft and review employment contracts, disciplinary letters, and settlement agreements; manage employee grievances and investigations.
• Litigation: Assist in managing labour and commercial disputes; liaise with external counsel; maintain litigation trackers and case chronologies.
• Contractual Support: Draft contracts for various deal structures and provide guidance on ministry‑specific contract terms.
• Risk Management: Identify legal/commercial risks and support the maintenance of contract templates.
