Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Instrumentation and Automation Designer to assist in the preparation and updating of design deliverables for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of experience, proficiency in design drafting, and a familiarity with ADNOC standards. This role demands excellent coordination and communication skills and immediate availability for work in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Designer in oil & gas projects.
• Experience in Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
• ADNOC project experience is a must.
• Basic understanding of control systems, field instruments, and wiring practices.
• Immediate availability to join in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop instrumentation design drawings including: Loop diagrams and Instrument location drawings.
• Update and maintain instrumentation design deliverables based on engineering markups.
• Assist in preparation of cable schedules, junction box details, and I/O lists.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC Engineering Standards and international instrumentation standards.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, and civil disciplines to ensure proper integration.
