Job summary

A leading technical services company in Dubai seeks a technician to assist in the installation and maintenance of field instrumentation. Candidates must possess ADNOC project experience and a diploma in Instrumentation or a related field. Responsibilities include supporting maintenance tasks, following safety protocols, and accurately documenting work. This position offers a chance to advance in a dynamic onshore oil & gas environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance tasks in onshore oil & gas environments.
  • Understanding of PPE and permit-to-work systems.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in installation and commissioning of field instrumentation.
  • Support routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure tools are prepared and maintained.

  • Document work accurately and escalate issues.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation calibration testing and commissioning of field instrumentation including pressure temperature level and flow transmitters.

  • Support senior technicians in routine maintenance loop checking signal testing and basic troubleshooting of instruments and control systems.

  • Follow instructions to carry out maintenance tasks on devices such as control valves RTDs thermocouples and pneumatic instruments.

  • Learn to read and interpret instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs loop diagrams wiring drawings).

  • Ensure tools and testing devices are prepared and maintained in good working condition.

  • Maintain housekeeping and comply with site safety standards and ADNOC protocols during all work activities.

  • Accurately document work performed and escalate any abnormalities or issues to senior staff.

Requirements
  • ADNOC project experience is mandatory (onshore preferred).

  • Experience in maintenance and support tasks related to onshore oil & gas environments.

  • Diploma/ITI or technical certification in Instrumentation Electronics or related field.

  • Ability to follow technical instructions basic safety awareness and willingness to learn.

  • Understanding of PPE permit-to-work systems and safe working practices in hazardous areas.
