Confidential in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Instructional Designer to support development of training materials aligned with the approved programme curriculum and SAT methodology.

You will assist in creating lesson plans, learner guides, facilitator guides, assessments and other resources, collaborating with SMEs and senior colleagues to translate technical content into clear learning materials. The role emphasizes quality, templates and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher education qualification in education, training, instructional design, communications or another relevant field.
  • Up to two years of experience in training administration, learning and development, curriculum support, content development or a similar role. Graduate or internship experience may also be considered.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow templates, processes and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and respond positively to feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing lesson plans, presentations, learner guides, facilitator guides, worksheets and other training materials.
  • Support the preparation and updating of training content in line with approved curriculum, learning objectives and programme requirements.
  • Apply approved instructional design templates, standards and guidance when creating training materials.
  • Work with subject matter experts and senior team members to gather information and convert technical content into easy-to-understand learning resources.
  • Assist in developing assessments, quizzes, knowledge checks and practical assessment materials that support learning outcomes.
  • Review training materials for spelling, grammar, formatting, clarity, consistency and accuracy before submission for approval.
  • Update materials based on feedback from subject matter experts, trainers, quality reviewers and programme stakeholders.
  • Ensure all training content follows approved formatting, branding, template and quality-control requirements, including ESAT requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain proper filing, naming conventions and version control for all training materials and supporting documents.
  • Track content changes and ensure the latest approved versions are available for trainers and learners.
  • Support the instructional design and SAT teams with document preparation, meeting notes, feedback tracking and general coordination activities.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, SAT methodology and training-quality standards.
